In order to put this project into practice, Thomas Setzer, the polishing expert from joke, regularly attends the lectures at the fine technology college. Villingen-Schwenningen is one of the centres for fine mechanics and the related industry and trades throughout the whole of Germany. Special polishing courses are offered at the fine technology school in which both pupils and teachers take part. Thanks to this method, all those involved learn with close proximity to practical everyday tasks. The teaching staff additionally have an opportunity of constantly receiving further training themselves and remaining up to date with state-of-the-art technology. For the surface processing professionals from joke, this cooperation means that the company can offer future users and their trainers the highest level of instruction and make them perfectly adapted to everyday work. State fine technology school
The State fine technology school is under the sponsorship of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, the Technical Grammar School affiliated with the institution numbers among the vocational schools of the Black Forest-Baar district.  Part of the fine technology college is the three-year vocational school, at which vocational training as a precision engineer, systems electronics technician or watchmaker can be obtained on a full-time basis, a technicians’ school for precision engineering/mechatronics and information technology, a master school for metal-working foreman and for master watchmaker, in addition to a vocational college for information and communication technology.
